[:id]Umsida.ac.id – Fakultas Bisnis, Hukum dan Ilmu sosial (FBHIS) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (Umsida) membuka workshop Capacity Building management di gedung mini teather kampus 1, Senin (30/9).
Workshop dengan tema Elevating Indonesia Youth Millenial’s Potential for future skills and starting their business in the age of disruption ini diselenggarakan selama empat hari yaitu 30 September – 3 Oktober di Umsida, sidoarjo. Kegiatan ini merupakan kerjasama HSBC, Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) dan Sampoerna University (SU).
Perwakilan Sampoerna University (SU) menyambut positif kegiatan ini, “Capacity building bisa membantu mahasiswa untuk masuk ke dunia kerja, termasuk juga dalam peningkatan soft skill, ” ujarnya. Program edukasi literasi keuangan ini secara strategis menyasar komunitas masyarakat dan kelompok usaha di berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
Di sidoarjo, HSBC melihat besarnya potensi pengembangan kewirausahaan di kalangan muda. Karenanya, program edukasi finansial pun difokuskan untuk membangun kompetensi dan kapasitas para mahasiswa dan pengusaha muda untuk membangun masa depan lewat kewirausahaan.
Wisnu P. Setiyono SE MSi PhD Dekan FBHIS selaku perwakilan dari Umsida memberikan tanggapannya, “Acara ini mendukung mata kuliah enterprenurship di FBHIS. Semoga mahasiswa dapat medapatkan ilmu dari kegiatan ini, ” ujarnya.
Selain edukasi keuangan yang menyasar mahasiswa dan pengusaha muda, turut diselenggarakan lokakarya riset bagi para dosen perguruan tinggi lokal, yang mencakup teknik penulisan dan publikasi hasil penelitian dan strategi untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal binaan kampus.

The workshop with the theme Elevating Indonesia Youth Millennial's Potential for future skills and starting their business in the age of disruption was held for four days, 30 September - 3 October at Umsida, Sidoarjo. This activity is a collaboration of HSBC, Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) and Sampoerna University (SU).
Representatives of Sampoerna University (SU) positively welcomed this activity, "Capacity building can help students to enter the workforce, including in improving soft skills," he said. This financial literacy education program strategically targets the community and business groups in various regions in Indonesia.
In Sidoarjo, HSBC sees a large potential for developing entrepreneurship among young people. Therefore, the financial education program is also focused on building the competencies and capacities of students and young entrepreneurs to build a future through entrepreneurship.

In addition to financial education targeting young students and entrepreneurs, a research workshop was also held for local university lecturers, which included writing techniques and publication of research results and strategies to enhance the empowerment of campus-built local communities.
