Establish International Ukhuwah Islamiyah, Rector and BPH Umsida Visit PCIM Malaysia

[:id]Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah telah berkembang pesat secara internasional, salah satunya di negeri jiran, Malaysia. Dalam rangka memperkuat ukhuwah dan semangat dakwah Islamiyah internasional, Rektor dan pengurus Badan Pembina Harian (BPH) UMSIDA mengikuti rihlah PW Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur dengan melakukan kunjungan ke Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Muhammadiyah (PCIM) Malaysia di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia pada 12-15 Agustus 2019.

Rombongan dari UMSIDA terdiri atas Rektor UMSIDA Dr. Hidayatulloh dan 4 orang pengurus Badan Pembina Harian (BPH) UMSIDA, Prof. Achmad Jainuri, MA,Ph.D., Drs. Nadjib Hamid, M.Si., Ir. Tamhid Masyhudi, dan Dra. Sri Asih, yang masing-masing sebagai Ketua, Sektetaris, Bendahara, dan Anggota. Secara keseluruhan, rombongan dari Jawa Timur ini berjumlah 28 orang dan dipimpipin langsung oleh Ketua PW Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur.

Kehadiran rombongan Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur ini disambut hangat oleh keluarga besar Muhammadiyah Malaysia yang dipimpin oleh Ketua PCIM Malaysia, Sonny Zulhuda. Tempat pertemuan tersebut di sekretariat Ranting Istimewa Muhammadiyah dan ‘Aisyiyah Kampung Pandan, yang merupakan ranting muhammadiyah terbaru di Malaysia.

Dalam sambutannya Sonny Zulhuda menyampaikan bahwa perkembangan Muhammadiyah di luar negeri, khususnya di Malaysia terbilang sangat cepat. Sonny menginformasikan bahwa jumlah anggota Muhammadiyah di Malaysia ini lebih dari 2000 an orang.

“Saat ini PCIM Malaysia telah memiliki 7 Pimpinan Ranting Istimewa Muhammadiyah (PRIM) dan 5 Pimpinan Ranting Istimewa ‘Aisyiyah (PRIA),” ujar Sonny yang juga sebagai Associate Professor di Interntational Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) ini. “Yang terbaru adalah PRIM Kampung Pandan yg kita tempati ini,” ujar Sonny menambahkan.

Ketua PWM Jawa Timur, Dr. M. Saad Ibrahim, MA. dalam ceramahnya memberikan apresiasi yang tinggi atas keberhasilan PCIM Malaysia dalam mengembangkan gerakan Muhammadiyah di Malaysia. ”Semangat orang-orang Lamongan, Gresik, Tuban, dan beberapa dari daerah lain yang sedang bekerja dan kuliah di Malaysia ini luar biasa,” ujar pak Saad yang mengapresiai para pengurus dengan menyebut nama daerah asal pengurus yang penuh semangat mengembangkan persyarikatan Muhammdiyah di Malaysia.

Mengetahui pertumbuhan yang begitu cepat, pak Saad pun memberikan apresiasi yang besar kepada para pengurus Muhammadiyah di Malaysia. “Kita patut memberi apresiasi dan support kepada bapak, ibu, dan saudara-sausara kita yang ada di Malaysia ini,” ujar Pak Saad. “Untuk itu PWM Jawa Timur memberikan sumbangan kepada PCIM Malaysia sebesar 75 juta rupiah,” tegas Saad Ibrahim.

Selaku pimpinan salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah, Rektor UMSIDA Dr. Hidayatulloh M.Si pun mengapresiasi perjuangan orang-orang yang berada jauh dari kampong halaman itu. ”Mereka semua kelihatan sangat bahagia dengan kunjungan rombongan PWM Jawa Timur dan berharap di lain waktu bisa berjumpa lagi, selamat berjuang saudaraku dan bermuhammadiyah, semoga Allah meridlai langkah perjuangan kita,” ujar Pak Dayat.

Di samping mengadakan kegiatan pengajian dan sosial kemasyarakatan PCIM/A dan PRIM/A di Malaysia, juga mengembangkan  beberapa Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah di bidang Pendidikan TK dan TPQ

Dalam kesempatan yang sama UMSIDA juga menyerahkan bantuan dana untuk pengembangan TPQ yang baru berdiri di Kampung Pandan, secara simbolis bantuan diserahkan oleh istri rektor UMSIDA Erlida Rahmiani kepada pengelola TPQ. Nadjib Hamid, M.Sc., Ir. Tamhid Masyhudi, and Dra. Sri Asih, who are respectively the Chairperson, Sectarian, Treasurer and Member. In total, the group from East Java numbered 28 people and was led directly by the Chairperson of East Java Muhammadiyah PW.

The presence of the East Java Muhammadiyah entourage was warmly welcomed by the Malaysian Muhammadiyah family led by the Chairperson of PCIM Malaysia, Sonny Zulhuda. The meeting place was at the secretariat of the Muhammadiyah Special Branch and ‘Aisyiyah Kampung Pandan, which is the newest Muhammadiyah branch in Malaysia.

In his remarks Sonny Zulhuda said that the development of Muhammadiyah abroad, especially in Malaysia was fairly fast. Sonny informed that the number of Muhammadiyah members in Malaysia was more than 2000 people.
“At present PCIM Malaysia has 7 Muhammadiyah Special Branch Leaders (PRIM) and 5 Aisyiyah (PRIA) Special Branch Leaders,” said Sonny who is also an Associate Professor at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). “The latest is the PRIM Kampong Pandan that we live in,” Sonny added.

The Chairperson of East Java PWM, Dr. M. Saad Ibrahim, MA. in his speech gave high appreciation for the success of the Malaysian PCIM in developing the Muhammadiyah movement in Malaysia. “The spirit of the people of Lamongan, Gresik, Tuban, and some of the other regions who are working and studying in Malaysia is extraordinary,” said Pak Saad who appreciated the management by mentioning the name of the area of ​​origin of the management who were eager to develop Muhammdiyah in Malaysia.

Knowing the rapid growth, Pak Saad also gave great appreciation to the Muhammadiyah management in Malaysia. “We should give appreciation and support to our fathers, mothers and siblings in Malaysia,” said Pak Saad. “For this reason, East Java PWM contributed 75 million rupiah to PCIM Malaysia,” said Saad Ibrahim.

As the leader of one of Muhammadiyah’s Colleges, UMSIDA Rector Dr. Hidayatulloh M.Si also appreciated the struggle of those who were far from the village. “They all look very happy with the visit of the East Java PWM entourage and hope that in another time they will meet again, congratulations on fighting my brothers and joining the Muhammadiyah, may Allah provide the steps for our struggle,” said Pak Dayat.

In addition to holding PCIM / A and PRIM / A social and community study and teaching activities in Malaysia, also developing several Muhammadiyah Charitable Enterprises in the field of TK and TPQ Education

On the same occasion UMSIDA also handed over funding assistance for the development of the newly established TPQ in Pandan Village, symbolically the assistance was handed over by the wife of UMSIDA rector Erlida Rahmiani to TPQ managers.(dayat)[:]
