[:id]umsida.ac.id- Peduli Gempa Ambon, Himpunan Mahasiswa (HIMA) Prodi PGSD lakukan gerakan galang dana saat Car Free Day, di Alun-Alun Sidoarjo (26/10). Kegiatan ini dilakukan di beberapa titik di Alun-Alun Sidoarjo seperti Pendopo, Masjid Agung, Monumen Jayandaru. Dalam kegiatan ini, ketua HIMA PGSD, Ikawati mengatakan kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk kepeduliaan mahasiswa Umsida khususnya Mahasiswa PGSD untuk korban gempa di Ambon. Ia mengatakan, “Sebagai mahasiswa, kami memiliki tanggung jawab dan kesadaran uuntuk turut membantu sesama, sehingga dapat meringankan beban mereka yang terkena musibah,” katanya.
Kegiatan penggalangan dana ini dibantu oleh 26 orang anggota HIMA PGSD yang disebar ke masing-masing lokasi yang telah ditentukan. Selain itu, Ika menjelaskan kegiatan ini juga telah bekerja sama dengan LAZISMU Umsida dalam penyaluran dana ke Ambon. “Kami bekerjasama dengan LAZISMU dalam penyaluran dana berupa uang ke masyarakat Ambon,” paparnya. Kegiatan galang dana ini membuat masyarakat tergerak hatinya untuk peduli dan membantu antar sesama seperti yang diungkapkan salah satu orang saat Car Free Day mau membantu korban gempa di Ambon bernama Iswatun “Senang sekali ada kegiata ini. Biasanya kita mau donasi bingung mau kirim kemana, takut nggak sampai, nggak tau caranya juga. Nah dengan hadir di kegaitan masyarakat gini kan seneg, jadi bisa donasi. Semoga bantuan ini bisa bermanfaat bagi Ambon,” ucapnya. The fundraising activity was assisted by 26 HIMA PGSD members who were distributed to each of the designated locations. In addition, Ika explained that this activity had also collaborated with LAZISMU Umsida in channeling funds to Ambon. “We are working with LAZISMU in channeling funds in the form of money to the people of Ambon,” he explained. This fundraising activity makes the community moved to care and help between people as revealed by one of the people when Car Free Day wanted to help earthquake victims in Ambon named Iswatun “So happy to have this activity.
