[:id]Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) kini telah memiliki 60 asesor kompetensi setelah secara resmi direkomendasikan oleh Master Asesor Penguji BNSP, yang sebelumnya telah mempunyai 4 asesor yang telah mempunyai sertifikat. Hal ini semakin melengkapi daftar kompetensi yang bisa diberikan kepada mahasiswa dan mayarakat dari Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi (LSP) UMSIDA.
Ini semakin meneguhkan eksistensi UMSIDA sebagai kampus yang memberikan sertifikat kompetensi baik bagi mahasiswa maupun bagi masyarakat pada umumnya. “Mahasiswa atau masyarakat yang ingin mendapat sertifikat kompetensi bisa diuji oleh asesor bersertifikat dari UMSIDA. Jika dinilai berkompeten, maka asesor merekomendasikan bahwa orang tersebut berkompeten dengan sertifikat dari BNSP,” ujar Direktur LSP UMSIDA Wiwik Sulistiyowati, ST. MT pada hari Ahad (28/7/2019).
Seperti diketahui bahwa Master Asesor Kompetensi dari BNSP telah mengeluarkan rekomendasi kompeten kepada 60 orang dosen UMSIDA pada 12 Juli 2019 yang lalu setelah menjalani serangkaian pelatihan yang berlangsung dari hari Senin – Kamis (8-12/7/2019) di kampus Sidowayah Umsida. Dalam pelatihan ini sebanyak 21 skema yang dilatihkan.
Dengan sertifikat kompetensi dari LSP UMSIDA ini semakin meningkatkan kualitas dan daya saing bagi mahasiswa atau pun masyarakat yang terlibat langsung dalam bidang atau industri atau dunia kerja yang ingin digeluti. “Sertifikat kompetensi yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa akan berfungsi untuk penguatan mutu dan kompetensi lulusan yang akan bersaing di dunia kerja,” kata Wiwik. “Untuk masyarakat, pemenuhan standar mutu lulusan link and match dengan kebutuhan pasar,” lanjutnya.
Wiwik menjelaskan prosedur untuk mendapatkan sertifikat kompetensi tersebut. Masyarakat atau mahasiswa bisa mengajukan pengujian kompetensi melalui kerjasama dengan Fakultas. “Masyarakat bisa mengikuti uji kompetensi melalui Fakultas terkait (jenis kompetensinya) sebagai bentuk pelaksanaan tri dharma Perguruan Tinggi yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat,” ungkap Wiwik.”Nanti Fakultas tersebut akan kerjasama dg LSP untuk melakukan asesmen,” pungkasnya.
Rektor UMSIDA Dr. Hidayatulloh, M. Si. Mengapresiasi capaian dari LSP UMSIDA karena ini menjadi salah satu kelebihan yang disandang dari lulusan UMSIDA yakni memiliki kompetensi dalam dunia kerja. “Yang bisa melakukan uji kompetensi terhadap para mahasiswa Umsida hanya para asesor,” Kata pak Hidayatulloh saat menyambut para master asesor dan membuka acara pelatihan yang lalu. Pak Hidayat berharap untuk ke depannya, UMSIDA akan mendorong agar lebih banyak asesor yang nantinya dapat menguji kompetensi keahlian baik untuk mahasiswa ataupun masyarakat pada umumnya.
Pelatihan menghadirkan para Master Asesor BNSP yakni Ibu Sri Pudiyastuti, Ibu Nurul Indah Susanti, Bapak Mulyo Budi Setiawan, Bapak Hari Setiyono, Bapak Mohammad Ali, dan Bapak Busmin Napitupulu. Pelatihan ini merupakan salah satu proses di dalam pembentukan LSP, sedangkan Master Asesor Penguji dari BNSP adalah Ibu Sri Pudiyastuti, Ibu Nurul Indah Susanti, Bapak Mulyo Budi Setiawan, Bapak Triyogo, Bapak Mohammad Ali, dan Bapak Busmin Napitupulu.

It is well known that the Master of Competency Assessors from BNSP has issued a competent recommendation to 60 UMSIDA lecturers on 12 July 2019 ago after undergoing a series of training that took place from Monday – Thursday (8-12 / 7/2019) on the Umsida Sidowayah campus. In this training there were 21 schemes trained.
With this competency certificate from LSP UMSIDA, it is increasingly improving the quality and competitiveness of students or communities who are directly involved in the field or industry or the world of work that they want to be involved in. “Competency certificates given to students will function to strengthen the quality and competence of graduates who will compete in the world of work,” said Wiwik. “For the community, meeting graduate quality standards links and matches market needs,” he continued.
Wiwik explained the procedure for obtaining the competency certificate. The community or students can propose competency testing through collaboration with the Faculty. “The public can take the competency test through the related faculties (types of competencies) as a form of implementation of the Tri dharma of Higher Education namely community service,” said Wiwik. “Later the Faculty will cooperate with LSP to conduct assessments,” he concluded.
Chancellor of UMSIDA Dr. Hidayatulloh, M. Si. Appreciating the achievements of LSP UMSIDA because this has become one of the strengths of graduates of UMSIDA, namely having competence in the world of work. “Those who can conduct competency tests for Umsida students are only assessors,” said Pak Hidayatulloh while welcoming the master assessors and opening the training program. Pak Hidayat hopes that in the future, UMSIDA will encourage more assessors who will be able to test competency skills for students or society in general.
The training presented BNSP Assessors namely Ms. Sri Pudiyastuti, Ms. Nurul Indah Susanti, Mr Mulyo Budi Setiawan, Mr. Hari Setiyono, Mr. Mohammad Ali, and Mr. Busmin Napitupulu.
