On his occasion, Professor Johny Jeremias said many things would happen to Industry 4.0. According to him, industry 4.0 will affect all life lines, including the matter of data storage which is very closely related to industry 4.0. The business model in the industrial era 4.0 will later become a new business model that emphasizes ease of data access, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning.
As a result, this business model will have a significant impact on education. Where education will be attached to course delivery which can be internet based or hands on. Even with business schools, he said, “Business is a form of educational model innovation, in the future the business education model will pay more attention to more adequate skills,” he said.
This apparently caught the attention of Muhammad Eko, a student of FBHIS management study program, who in the question and answer session asked about the possibility of Indonesia to compete in the 4.0 industry while on the other hand, there were still many Indonesian people who were traditionally minded. Responding to this, Simon Freser University of Canada said, “Humans have the strength to move forward. No matter how traditional the conditions they experience. So of course Indonesia has the same opportunity to compete in the Industrial 4.0 era. It depends on how the young generation wants to wake up and prepare themselves from now on, “he concluded.
