[:id]umsida.ac.id- Dalam acara “Mimbar Demokaris” Kapolresta Sidoarjo menyampaikan belasungkawa secara langsung dihadapan mahasiswa dan akademisi Umsida atas gugurnya kader Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah Kendari saat sedang berjuang menyampaikan aspirasinya pada DPRD Kendari (27/9).
Kapolresta Sidoarjo, Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho pada kesempatannya mengungkapkan belasungkawa atas gugurnya dua mahasiswa asal kendari dala meperjuangkan keadilan negeri.
“Saya mengucapkan turut berduka cita atas meninggalnya kader IMM yang gugur dalam aksi demo di Kendari, mohon maaf atas kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh pihak kepolisisan selama melaksanakan tugas, dan terkait tuntutan mahasiswa dan berbagai pihak atas kejadian tersebut sudah kami tindak lanjuti,” ujar Zain
Dalam kegiatan ini, Pimpinan Cabang Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo yang menyatakan 7 tuntutan atas peristiwa ggugurnya dua kader terbaik IMM Kendari tersebut, tuntutan itu menyatakan turut berduka cita atas meninggalnya kader terbaik IMM kendari. IMM Sidoarjo juga mengecam keras tindakan penembakan yang dilakukan aparat, mendesak pemerintas dan aparat untuk mengusut tuntas peristiwa ini.
Mereka mendesak pemerintah dan aparat untuk memberikan akses seluas-luasnya pada journalist untuk memberitakan kejadian sebenarnya, mendesak kapolri untuk mencopot kapolda Sulteng, mendesak kapolsi untuk menghukum pelaku penembakan, dan yang terakhir menghimbau seluruh masyarakat untuk mengawal jalannya demokrasi.
Menurut Kapolresta Sidoarjo, Kapolri telah mencopot beberapa Kapolda yang gagal dalam menjalankan tugassnya.
“Saya baru mendapat informasi, bahwa Kapolri telah mencopot 4 Kapolda,” tuturnya.
Melalui momen ini, Kapolresta Sidoarjo membuka kesediaan untuk terus berdiskusi dan berkomunikasi dengan mahasiswa.
