Tuberculosis or better known as TB is a disease that is commonly suffered by the community. But unfortunately, not many people understand about preventive measures that can be taken to overcome the impact caused, especially if this disease is easily transmitted. In this activity, Midwife Ganggang Panjang Istianah Amd Keb was present as a guest speaker. The midwife who works daily at the Village Health Center (PonKesDes) was present accompanied by the health cadre of the Aisyiyah Foundation, Suma’iyah.

Through the event that was opened directly and the Head of Ganggang Panjang Village was attended by at least 28 health cadres from Ganggang Panjang Village and the local villagers were given counseling to prevent tuberculosis. It is hoped that through this activity the people of Ganggang Panjang Village can maintain the environment in order to remain clean and healthy and avoid tuberculosis. “This TB disease can indeed be cured through routine treatment for 6 months. But still, it’s better to prevent than cure. The way we have to do is to maintain good air circulation in our homes and keep our bodies fit so that they are not susceptible to disease, “said Suma’iyah

Through this activity also, the KKN-T 32 Team found 2 people from Ganggang Panjang Village who had Tuberculosis so that it was handled more continuously by the Ganggang Panjang Midwife. Istianah said, “Residents who are infected later will be treated for routine treatment for 6 months and accompanied by village health cadres,” She concluded. (Real)[:]
